Many buyers import all kinds of hats from China, and they are curious about how this hat is produced from a Chinese factory. Today, I will take you to the factory to see how a hat is made step by step.
#1 Make a hat body
use a sewing machine to sew the threads round by round out of a hat original body, only skilled and experienced workers can make good shape, average distance of the threads, good ending seaming, it is the basic step of one good shape hat
#2: Shape the hat
put one hat body on the mould in good angle according to customers hat shape requirement, stay 30 second under around 150 degree high temperature in the mould to shape the hat, if the time is not enough, the hat maybe lose shape after sometimes, there are different head sizes and shapes can supply.
#3: first round quality inspection
cut off the extra scraps and long threads, and pick out the problematic hat, broken pieces, dirty pieces, etc.
#4: sewing labels and sweat band
the worker everybody has one ruler to make sure the right head size(57cm is the normal size) as customers’ requirement when they sewing the sweat band with customers’ logo label and wash label smoothly, need to make sure the letter on the labels is visible
#5: make the hat decoration
fix the decorations on the hat well, there are different types, some are ribbons, some are headbands, some are bowknot, etc,to make the hat looks beautiful or attractive, this step give the hat it’s soul!
#6: second round quality inspection
cut the extra small thread, take out the problem pieces, especially the white and cream color, must check under the sun to see clearly the problems
#7: hang the tags
if the customers with their own logo tag, we will use one pin gun to put them with one hook and their logo tag on one fixed places of the hat.
#8: pack hats into boxes
the hats will be packed into the carton, usually is 25 pcs in one inner box, 100 pcs in the carton, if the headband need to be protected, we will put one round paper card between each piece to make sure the headband design is good when customer receive the goods.
